I really love this cute summer dress and the was she has teamed it with a tan leather belt. Personaly I would have worn this look with some yummy studded sandles to give it a bit of edge.

Blogging

I have been researching into the world of blogging so that I can gain inspiration on how to better my own blog and also to discover other great blogs to follow and share with you. Here are my findings . . .

One of the very first blogs that I came across was that of Tavi Gevinson who is the genius behind the well known blog , style rookie. She started writing her blog at the age of just 11 and started in the same way as many other bloggers, with a simple introduction. She wrote. . . "Well I am new here.... Lately I've been really interested in fashion, and I like to make binders and slide shows of "high-fashion" modeling and designs. I'd like to know of neat websites and magazines, so comments are welcome. I plan on posting pictures in the future, but for now, I'm just getting started. Yours truly, Tavi" At this point there was no indication of what was to come for her! she posts many pictures of herself dressed up in kooky outfits and also a lot of images that she likes and wants to share with her followers. Now just two years on she has become internationally known for her inspirational style and must-read blog. She has managed to make a career out of blogging,The fashionista sat on front row at New York Fashion week and even sells her own T-shirts!


Although she is not the only one to have invaded the front row! Fashion blogger BryanBoy was one of the first. He sat on front row at Dolce & Gabbana last September, next to Anna Wintour (US vogue editor-in-chief) who was reported to be not very happy about it! His blog is really good fun and light - hearted, he seems to travel a lot which makes his blog all the more interesting to read.

Another male blogger that caught my attention was Dan Hasby-Oliver who writes men's fashion blog Last Style of Defense. His blog mainly introduces new photographers and designers to his readers, he has made his way into the fashion world through blogging and has already attended Paris fashion week. so needless to say, he has achieved quite a lot since starting his blog just under a year ago, in July 2009!

Although I have to say my favourite blog for all the celeb goss, pics and 'you were thinking it we are just saying it' commentary has to be The Style Bitches. The Blog is written by Blanaid Hennessy and Laura Cunningham who started the blog in January 2009 and they cast their opinion on all the latest fashion trends and the celebs who are wearing it. Their style of writing and knowledge has made the bloggers really successful in such a short space of time! This blog is a must-click!

Street Style: Sandals

Its sooo hot today, the sun has finally decided to make an appearance, but probably not for long :( so it is a perfect excuse for getting your sandals on! This season the must-wear pairs are pretty much like gladiator sandals but just smaller! so while out shopping I have taken a few snaps of my favourite pairs to give you some inspiration!

Prada-a-like Sunglasses

In the last few week of glorious sunshine I have rekindled my passion for sunglasses, it seems that I come home with a new pair each time I go shopping, but these are my favourite find so far! I only paid £14.99 for them and they are an amazing substitute for the ever stylish Prada Butterflies. Moschino have also launched a similar pair which they are featuring in one of their new Ad campaigns, so they are sure to be a hot look this summer!

Unfortunately my fellow bloggers, I cant find a link for you to buy these fabulous Baby Phat sunglasses online, so you will have to look in store at Tkmaxx. Its worth taking your time to have a rummage around while your in there, you never know what you might find! although I will update you if I manage to find an online stockist!
